  1. In The Reluctant Journal of Henry K. Larsen I really enjoy how you hear about Henry life as he is talking to you, I also like that he writes about the challenges that approaches him and how he he overcomes them. If I could ask Henry one question it would be; What happened on april 30? Henry keeps hinting about it but he has not told use what happened on that night. (We are on page 120 and he has not told use yet) I choose a quote from page 42 which says "If Scott had know what was coming, he might have choose his words more carefully for once in his life" I choose this quote because it shows that Scott never respected Jess and he should have choose his words differently because he was about to shoot him.

    1. I like that quote a lot. It seems that Jesse simultaneously plays the role of the main character but also an innocent bystander sometimes in the book, especially in the quote you used. I also agree with you on what you listed what you like about the book, about the challenges and overall perspective. Good job! -Joey

  2. Personally I like the perspective given in the book (first person) and I think the author uses it to her advantage. It shows how Henry reacts and gives an depth perspective on how he changes throughout the , as well as his opinion or view on each character. My question would be "How do things go with Alberta and Henry?". I have been wondering and I would like to see where it leads between them. My quote is from 115 and it is "I can reunite my parents. I can't reenact their first date, but I can plan the best night ever. I can take them to the GWF Smash-Up Live! in Seattle. Garbage picking, here I come." I think it shows a lot about Henry's character and what he will do and sacrifice for the sake of his parents and the people around him. Personally, I think this is because through his actions, Jesse might had taught him to be selfless.
